Jim Beckham is a candidate for the Lindsay Board of Education to be voted on February 9, 2021. Jim's qualifications and experience include 39 years as a teacher, coach and administrator in three Oklahoma public schools. He also has a Ph.D. in education from the University of Oklahoma which focused on public school finance, and has taught public school finance and public school law at two Oklahoma universities for several years. Jim has recently retired from the superintendency and now lives south of Lindsay on his and Sherrie's ranch. Jim's heart has always been with Lindsay's schools as he writes columns for The Lindsay News which honor Lindsay alumni.
